On Sunday, August 12, 2007, the BBF met fellow tailbeh Baye in Louisville, Kentucky. The goal of the meeting was to introduce the Foundation to the community and request input for its activities. Baye Faye hosted the meeting.
Alioune Ousmane Thiam, Secretary for Media & IT, explained to the audience the misson and vision of the endeavour. A brainstorming and Q&A section followed during which excellent ideas were suggested. The most important one was to get organized to the point where the Foundation will schedule and coordinate one and only one general event a year. That event will be held in a different city every year. All talibeh Baye will be invited to attend and will gather at the same place.
